A Grand Gesture

An apology to those who hate me and people like me.

A couple days ago I did something that was way out of my element. After stumbling onto a hate filled story on a right-wing site which derided a Transwoman for a Twitter rant about having a period (yes we have those); I dared to leave a comment. I knew what I could expect from that crowd, I knew that I’d never shift their point of view, I knew I was out of my element. Against my better judgement, I dared to poke the bear, and naturally, the bear bit back.
