The One About Humility…

After I came out as Transgender, I found myself making friends all over the place. I was blessed to become friends with author and advocate Sara Cunningham. Sara is a wonderful person who authored an outstanding book (How we Sleep at Night: A Mother’s Memoir) after her son came out as Gay. Sara had a lot of introspection to do in order to reconcile her faith with her son’s sexuality, and the book is wonderful example of finding peace with the conflict that exists between the church and those in the LGBTQ+ community.

The place to embrace the Triumphs and Tribulations of those who Transitioned and risked everything to live authentically.
