Prologue: Jervis John

Jervis John of Blackspire Industries sat at the head of the table, presiding over a meeting of his “Disruptors.” These were not your typical corporate suits. They were handpicked chaos agents — strategists, tacticians, and ruthless opportunists — all tasked with one simple mission: disrupt, deconstruct, destroy. Blackspire didn’t just dominate industries; it dismantled them and rebuilt from the rubble.

“Go,” Jervis barked as the meeting wrapped up, his tone sharp and dismissive. The Disruptors gathered their notes and filtered out, already plotting where to unleash the next wave of mayhem.

All but one man.

Seated at the far end of the room, legs crossed and perfectly still, was Gideon Blackstone. He wasn’t a Disruptor. He wasn’t part of any formal team.
