The Tripple Effect

A tritriplicata poem

© Dennett 4/28/20

Mist dances
in early morning light
whistlers obscured in dusky shadows
waiting for the lady
with breakfast

Every morning, I and my husband feed cracked corn to these black-bellied whistling ducks and at least a dozen more, as well as a few Muscovies.

A publication and podcast about poetry, kindness, the movement of ideas and, the Tritriplicata.

I was always a writer but lived in a bookkeeper’s body before I found Medium and broke free — well, almost. Working to work less and write more.
