A Chillers Collection
Today I’m sharing 20 tracks that every chiller should have in their library. Tunes for the sunshine, the beach or just whenever you want to relax. Tunes to help everyone chill out!
Reggae is my main influence for chilling songs, as I’m sure you will be able to tell from this selection. However, I have tried to include some variety.
Kicking off with a bit of Bob. One of my favourite. Got this beauty in my library after Jams brought it to my attention during an adventure over the moor to Addingham.
Some quality bands that everyone would enjoy seeing live. Especially Fat Freddy’s Drop and Gentlemans Dub Club who always put on a show. Wouldn’t be a chillers collection without tunes from each of them.
Music Is The Girl I Love — Gentleman’s Dub Club
The Cost of Living is Killing Me — The Skints
Flip Ya Lid — Nightmares on Wax
It’s a Pity — Tanya Stevens (I prefer the Laid Blak version, see link, but it’s not on Spotify)
Got this fine tune from my buddy Cal. Ta.
These two tracks I caught at Irie Vibes in York. A sound sytem that’s been bringing good vibes to York every month for over 7 years. Always good fun.
Come Along — Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry
Next some chilling but not reggae tracks. Told you I had a few.
Everybody Loves the Sunshine — Roy Ayers
Ain’t No Sunshine — Bill Withers
Better Together — Jack Johnson
Woah! There’s No Limit — Lord Echo
Tobyjub — Doc Daneeka, Abigail Wyles
The next four are all a similar style and might not be for everyone but I always enjoy them. Especially Rainy City Blues, it’s a banger.
When Will They Learn — Liam Bailey
Rainy City Blues — Pupajim, Stepart
Last one. A perfect tune.
Here is the full playlist.

Keep chilling people …
Don’t forget to hit the heart :)
