Haul of the Month — July
It’s that time of the month again. Here are twenty of the best tracks I’ve caught in the Spotify music lake this month. BIG tunes, as usual.
Discover Weekly
I discovered 21 new songs this month from my Discover Weekly playlist. Thanks Spotify.
Highlights for me are This Must Be Home is a decent disco type song (I think), Gorilla Villa for the chillers and (Not Just) Knee Deep is a funky song it’s just quite long so bear with it.
Here are my favourite 10:
If Only I Could (ft. Steve Lucas) — Fusion Groove
King Bromeliad — Floating Points
This Must Be Home (Original Mix) — P Sol
Colonial Mentality — Ezra Collection
Digital Robot — Manudigital
(Not Just) Knee Deep — Funkadelic
Be Thankful for What You Got (Pt.1 & 2) — William DeVaughn
Release Radar
Release Radar hasn’t let me down this month. Added 16 new songs into my library thanks to it. The Manu Chao song brings back good childhood memories. If you’re a reggae fan both Damian Marley and Chronixx have released new albums. But I would say the pick of the bunch is In My House (Dub).
Here are the ten I selected for you:
See the light (rework) — Sofa Surfers
One True Light (Ron Basejam Remix) — Crazy P
My Mind Is For Sale — Jack Johnson
Speak Life — Damian Marley
In My House (Dub) — Nickodemus
Sounds the Same — Ben Pearce
I’m not sure who actually enjoys these blogs and the tunes I’m sharing. Hopefully some people. If you like the music give us a heart :)
Here’s the Spotify playlist. Enjoy.
