Today, I’ve got a musical feast for you, served up by me, The Tune Catcher, but the chef is my man Henry Senners Fitt. Some of my favourite tunes on show here. So cheers Sen.

For the appetiser, and a fine example of the quality of tunes to come, it’s my favourite track by French artist St Germain. One of many class tunes from this guy.

Rose Rouge — St Germain

Next up, a variety of easy listening tracks for you to enjoy. I am sure you will have heard of some of them.

Lovely Day — Bill Withers

Lady — Fela Kuti

Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless) — Crystal Waters

For the main course, it’s the livelier tracks. Although somewhat underrepresented for a Senners selection is the heavy techno. This kind of music is only just starting to tingle my musical pallet.

Millionaire — Kelis

Time To Move — Carmen

Africa — Toto

Aquarelle — Frits Wentink

I’ve saved the best till last. Probably a top ten tune for me. The perfect dessert, give it a taste:

Afro Blue (9th Wonder’s Blue Light Basement Remix) — Robert Glasper, Phonte, Erkah Badu

All the above tunes made it into my library thanks to Sen so I owe him a big thank you. I can always rely on Henry to freshen up my library when he is selecting the music. He compliments my musical tastes nicely helping me fine new tracks and discover new types of music. Cheers pal.

However, this final tune, call it the cheese board, is from me. A tune that Senners downloaded into his library after I played it, although he had probably already heard it. Still, shows that it’s not completely one way. Almost, but not quite.

Operator (DJ Koze’s Disco Edit) — Lapsley
