Here’s Your Official 2018 State Of The Union Bingo Card

It’s that time of the year again: the temperature is still cold, the street slush is turning that really lovely shade of dark gray, and all of your favorite weeknight shows are pre-empted with (ugh) politics.

That’s right, America. It’s time for the State of the Union.

The State of the Union address, which technically isn’t mandated by the Constitution but has become a grand tradition, usually follows a pretty standard format: procession of the speakers, vague talking points about freedom and jobs, and dutiful applause from the president’s party.

Tonight’s speech is a big one, however. It’s President Trump’s first, and occurs at a time when the American economy is booming, but issues like relations with North Korea, the allegations of conspiracy with Russia, and DACA loom large.
