What to Expect From the Oculus Quest 3

Virtual reality has come a long way in recent years, offering users new and exciting ways to interact with digital content. Meta has been in front of VR since purchasing Oculus. The Oculus Quest revolutionized VR and made it more mobile. Oculus Quest 2, now called Meta Quest 2 took it to another level. Meta is preparing to release the next iteration of this groundbreaking device: the Meta Quest 3. There are a lot of rumors surrounding the new headset, and here is everything I expect this headset to have.
Improved Hardware
Meta Quest 3 will get a much-needed upgrade in the CPU department. It is rumored to be using XR2 Gen 2. The XR2 Gen 2 should give it a significant edge over the Quest 2 and quest pro. The display will get a resolution bump from 1,920 by 1,832 pixels per eye to 2,064 by 2,208 pixels per eye. You can also expect hardware that will make augmented reality more usable. It will have a colored passthrough, just like the quest pro. The controllers will also be the same as the quest pro. The device will be significantly slimmer thanks to the use of pancake lenses.
