You know when you feel stuck? When you just can’t quite get yourself out of that rut? Those moments when you wonder if you ever will have energy, insight, or clarity again?

Well, I don’t feel like that.

But, I am experiencing a slow down. A day of taking in more than I’m giving out. And that, my friend, is absolutely OK.

Going to the Well

We must allow ourselves to rest, be nourished, and receive what we need. The universe will refill us freely and often, if we ask and accept. When we knock, the door opens for us.

Today, I did that. On waking, the body felt just off. Tired. Headache. Sore throat. Even though that improved, I could feel what my body needed. Quietness.

I did do some work but it consisted of watching training videos for a couple of courses I’m enrolled in, taking notes, and allowing my mind to be more passive than active.

Trying to write this post has been like pulling teeth, to be honest. I’m also glad to be doing it. It feels good to make myself show up…
