People who love you will always try to protect you. And that’s normal, but I’ve decided to play it transparently because my characteristics aren’t hindrances. They’re assets.
Honestly, what’s going to happen? NOTHING.
At worst, I won’t be working with certain customers whom I’ll never know (by the way). At best, the people around me will be more vigilant towards me.
But it’s exactly the same as learning that a friend is going through a breakup or that my colleague is ill. I’m going to pay attention to this person because I’m human.
