My Fantastic Four
How I became the woman I am today
Ever since I was a little girl, I have had a habit of observing everyone around me. What I didn’t understand at the time was that some personalities had a more significant impact on my soul than others. And naturally, I adopted what I admired in each of them.
My mom became my compass in the family. Every moment she was present and willing to leave herself behind for everyone else’s wellbeing. When I was little, I thought she could never get sick. Now that I’m older I realized that even when she gets sick, she’s always up on her feet like any other day.
My aunt, my mom’s sister is the most reasonable, calm, and fair person I know. She never says a bad thing about anyone and always has only love for you. Since I was little, if I didn’t have my mom, I had her and felt the same warmth and safety.
My grandmother from whom I have my name. Confident, absolute, and generous. She has been working since she was a little girl and raised her two daughters alone. She always stood on her own two feet and learned not to depend on anyone. She never loses her dignity and she has rightfully earned everyone’s respect.
My pediatrician. The woman who made me love health sciences and want to be who I am today. To care about people’s health and serve it as best as I can by discovering new treatments.
These four women made me fight, live with passion and values. I owe to them what I have become so far.
