This line from Macbeth comes to mind regarding the current global news stream. As an investor, my preoccupation is economics and not politics.

These famous lines from Macbeth come to mind when analyzing today’s global economic landscape. As an investor, my focus is economics rather than politics, but the two are deeply intertwined, shaping markets in ways we cannot ignore.

The Paradox of Good Intentions

They say the path to hell is paved with good intentions, and in this case, former U.S. President Donald Trump seems to have emerged as an unlikely saviour for India’s struggling markets. However, to understand the trajectory of the Indian economy, one must separate short-term disruptions from long-term structural realities.
