Challenges are part of our daily routine. Having to get up in the morning, face the traffic, control yourself in front of angry customers, and the greatest one of all; understanding yourself. We are very confused as human beings but we try to hide that fact by belonging to something or working on our goals to put the focus on other things in life. When it comes down to it, we run away from reality and put our stresses on other people when nobody deserves to get lashed at because of your problems.

Once you realize “you” are the only opponent, you will begin to overcome any obstacle that comes your way.

You are in control. Sure, there are things in life that happen out of your control, but the way you react to those situations is in your hands. You can choose to get mad about losing your job or you can stay positive and say, “I lost my job because a better one is out there for me.” (The company was going to close in a month anyways so the universe is working in your favor.) If you did not think of the situation in that perspective, all you did was put yourself down, stressed yourself out, and became depressed over something that was not that bad. Your friend is over there smiling because he already applied somewhere that is giving him a better offer than the last company. So what did you gain out of the negative reaction? Nothing but a few more grey hairs.

Every day is a continuation of your life. It seems seperated because of sleep and the day turning into night. Telling yourself more motivational/ positive phrases will allow you to rise above challenges and become more successful. There are either two ways: You look at life trying to blame someone or something for every misfortune or you look at yourself in the mirror and realize that you have a brain and at any given moment YOU can tell yourself to stay positive. It is true and simple, which is why many people do not believe in it. All you have to do is accept the challenge and believe in yourself. Fight the negative thoughts and overcome them with positive visions.

Do you know when I fighter wins? When he does not put a single thought into his opponent. It is the moment when the fighter puts all his energy into his training and all his focus into the prize. The fighter is a pawn in the way of achieving his goal. Fighting the opponent is easy; overcoming your mind is the battle. Once you win that battle, you have a straight shot to the top of your success.
