In Fantasy Football, you don’t win your league in the first two rounds- but, you can certainly lose them there- just ask owners of Adrian Peterson, Todd Gurley and DeAndre Hopkins last year. Every year there is a handful players near the top who are major disappointments. One of the most important facets of drafting a fantasy team is identifying, and avoiding, the guys who will be major let-downs. So, which top guys have the biggest chance of busting this season?

Jay Ajayi, RB, Miami Dolphins

Ajayi came out of absolutely nowhere last season, and became one of the best Running Backs in not just fantasy, but reality. Thanks to his incredibly impressive season that included three games of 200+ rushing yards, he was the best waiver-wire pickup of the season. But in the other 12 games he played, he only scored in double digits three times. Also, Quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s injury will allow defenses to focus much more attention on stopping the run.

Keenan Allen, WR, Los Angeles Chargers

Keenan Allen is a stud when he’s on the field, there’s no doubt about that. He is a monster in PPR leagues, thanks to his massive amount of targets. But he is simply unreliable- he has only played 12 games in his last two seasons. His injury concerns are just too much of a red flag to take in the early rounds. Even when looking strictly at projecting on-field production, expect his large reception total to drop as well with the emergence of Tyrell Williams, Hunter Henry and Mike Williams.

Kirk Cousins, QB, Washington

Cousins obviously won’t be getting picked in the early rounds, but he will definitely be getting picked early among his fellow Quarterbacks. The drama going on between him and Washington over his contract situation is very well-documented, and it seems like both parties are unwilling to commit to each other in the long-term. Him seemingly being on his way out, as well as the subtraction of Pierre Garcon, make a for a recipe for Kirk Cousins to bust in 2017–18.
