Now that the college football season is over, fans are looking to social media platforms to get their off season fix.

Talegate, a new interactive app for fans to chat, cheer, and post with their favorite former players is looking to rise to the top of sports fans’ screens, and it has all the star power to make it happen.

Before Twitter, a fan’s only chance of interacting with college and NFL stars was meeting them in person, a rare event and nearly impossible if you lived in a different state. Even now with Twitter, you can mention a player in the hopes that they will reply, but with the millions of users and fellow fans, that sometimes is pretty hard in itself as well.

Talegate has built a bridge between player and fan for the app is designed and intended for users to have back and forth exchanges with former NCAA and current NFL players.

For USC fans especially, Talegate is a wondrous thing with so many beloved Trojans active and ready to chat about game day, recruiting, and even like and comment on fans’ original posts.

Just to name a few of the athletes present on Talegate, USC fans can interact with Khaled Holmes, Matt Barkley, LenDale White, and Dion Bailey.

Though the app is heavily Trojan, there are also players from Oklahoma, Michigan, Clemson, and other top programs.

From athletes posting videos about their personal workout regiments, to tons of desirable giveaways, the Talegate app makes users feel connected to the players they have supported for years.

Though where Talegate really hits the mark is with the game time chats they host. Every eye popping catch, every horrible play call, the user can comment on the live feed along with multiple players.

It’s actually extremely satisfying when players who have played in the games you are watching, share your same opinion on performance and execution.

Former USC captain Holmes on why he loves Talegate,

Even though I played professional football for three great teams my heart is and will always be in college football first, especially for my alma mater USC. Talegate has gotten me more deeply connected to the world of USC football. I’m excited to open the Talegate app every day to share and see what my fellow fans are posting.

If you love posting and talking about college football, Talegate is a must have in your app library this fall.

Talegate is currently doing a USC T-Shirt giveaway for fans who comment on their post until January 30th. The app is available for ios and Android users.
