Basketball is about enjoyment. Winning is the goal of everyone playing, but millions upon millions of fans don’t just watch their team because of the desire to win — rather, they watch to have fun and to be entertained. For the die-hards who watch the NBA every night, how exciting a team is to watch trumps how good of a team they are. If you are one of those seeking sheer enjoyment, here are three under-the-radar teams to keep an eye on next season.

Philadelphia 76ers

This one should be no surprise. The Sixers are stacked with young and exciting talent, and while it may not lead to immediate success in the win column, it will certainly make for a fun team to watch. Joel Embiid is already one of the most fun players in the league, and Philly has two #1 overall picks ready to debut in Markelle Fultz and Ben Simmons. Simmons, by the way, is a brilliant passer and will make the Sixers an electric team in transition.

New Orleans Pelicans

The Pelicans have the twin towers of Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins, but that’s about it. Along with Jrue Holiday, they are all New Orleans has. But, that’s enough to be worth watching. Now that Pelicans management has been given a full offseason, it will be truly fascinating to see what their daily game-plan will be. There are so many options of how to use the two bigs, but which ones New Orleans will employ still remains to be seen. Whatever they do, though, should be fun to watch.

Denver Nuggets

Don’t look now, but the Denver Nuggets are on their way to becoming one of the NBA’s very best teams — led by the frontcourt duo of Paul Millsap and Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets are a team that has it all: shooting, athleticism, passing, and defense. Jokic, of course, is the number one reason why they will be fun to watch, largely due to his magical passing ability. Every night, he makes at least a few passes that are truly mind-blowing. Even if he didn’t have a great team surrounding him, he’d be a must-see attraction.
