Ready to take your Web3 project to new heights? Take the next step forward by joining the Startup Pathway — a free online program designed for founders and builders crafting cutting-edge Web3 solutions on Celo.
The “Launch your Web3 Project in 30 Days” Challenge!
In this transformational challenge, we invite you to give your project the focus and resources it needs to go from idea to MVP and scale. During the challenge, you’ll test your base assumptions, build your MVP, meet entrepreneurs from around the globe, receive technical support, and pitch your project to the Upright team!
Equity-free grants of up to $25,000 are available for participants who meet the criteria specified below.
Who should join the challenge?
If you are building an open-source project (or the main components of your implementation are open-source) and you plan to integrate with Celo, then this program is for you! The program curriculum is based on our 5 years of experience advising startups in the Web3 space and is designed for both early-stage and established companies launching a new product or integration.
The program is fully remote and open to participants from all over the world and any use case with real-world impact.
Prizes
Up to 3 of the best open-source project submissions will win 500 CELO.
Eligibility criteria
- Your project is open-source & built on Celo
- Participate in the August 5th pitch session (see below)
- Submit your open-source project by August 12, 2024
- From a non-sanctioned country by the U.S. Information here.
In addition, we partnered up with Prezenti and Talent Protocol who will make the following grants available to participants of both the Startup Pathway Challenge (and Celo Camp):
- Prezenti: 25,000 cUSD Grant. Learn more about the prize and criteria here.
- Talent Protocol: a prize pool of 4,918 CELO. Follow the Startup Pathway Twitter page for the official announcement.
Program Schedule
Kickoff Event — July 8th (11AM ET)
Get a chance to briefly introduce yourself and your project, meet other builders, learn more about the challenge, and get all your burning questions about the program answered.
Tech Workshop — August 1st (11AM ET)
Live AMA session which includes an overview of the Celo tech-stack as well as an opportunity to get answers for all your technical challenges.
Pitch Session — August 5th (11AM ET)
Pitch your project to Upright Ventures and get feedback from our team of experts on how to refine your idea and make it ideal for the next stages of your entrepreneurial journey. The top projects will receive one of our equity-free prizes!
