The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation, in collaboration with the US Black Chambers, Inc., the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce, and the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate and recognize the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Kansas City, Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Regional Hispanic Contractors Association, Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for becoming the first CTI Certified Chambers!
In order to become CTI Certified, chambers of commerce must participate in at least three Chamber Training Institutes. We had the pleasure of hosting these chambers throughout our training institutes in Charlotte 2016: Developing Strategic Relationships — A Necessity in Today’s Multicultural Marketplace, Austin 2016: How to Create a Strategic Plan that is Used and Works, San Diego 2016: Foresight & Innovation, New Orleans 2016: Advocacy Essentials for Chambers Leaders, Chicago 2016: Coalition Building Across Underrepresented Chambers — Aligning Interests and Expanding Opportunity, and San Jose 2017: Strategic Planning & Implementation.

At our CTI programs, participants explore a range of topics and build leadership skills with faculty from the University of Notre Dame — Mendoza College of Business. The CTI program gives chamber and non-profit business association leaders the opportunity to learn from experts, and provides them with the necessary tools to work more effectively to strengthen local business communities.
This certification underscores the commitment and resolve of chambers that seek to improve their resources and capabilities in order to implement a more targeted, strategic, and effective approach in working with local businesses. Moreover, this recognition serves to distinguish the work chambers do as premier business organizations in local communities.
We are proud to be able to bestow this honor on chamber members that have dedicated themselves to CTI, and for the enthusiastic participation of the these chambers in the past. We look forward to meeting with these and more chambers at our CTIs in 2017:
