Have Institutions really taken the leap into crypto and of so at what level ?

Major institutions such as Fidelity are launching crypto products and services . Endowments suck as Yale are investing in funds that invest in blockchain technology. Overstock.com has launched tZero and started to give the investors their security tokens. Stocks suck as Tesla have been tokenized. Bitcoin by many is now considered an investable asset class via futures and swaps . Realestate and art and now being tokenized.

The power of many crypto currencies will most likely be defined by the ability to reduce not add friction to our current technological echo systems. Some believe that the future is a tokenized economy, while this will most likely happen in some form we are in the infancy stage and the future is impossible to predict with absolute certainty. Many products and services such as an exchange traded product and institutional level custody solutions have yet to be adapted .

There are many financial instruments that could be tokenized . Derivatives , stocks , bonds even options and warrants could have instant settlement . Retail and payment processors could use blockchain payment networks such as Ripple and Stellar.

Such things as collectibles , rewards programs and even file storage and computing power maybe tokenized .

Key challenges

There are many key challenges facing Main Street adoption and institutional expectance of crypto .
