The co-leader of the Green Party Jonathan Bartley has described foreign secretary Boris Johnson as ‘poison’.

Mr Bartley attacked Mr Johnson’s undiplomatic approach to foreign issues and claimed the Conservative party is ‘rotten to the core’ and ‘led by a zombie prime minister’.

He called the foreign minister a “human wrecking ball” and implored the cabinet to use collective responsibility and “kick him out.”

The comments were made at the party’s first annual conference since they saw their vote share fall in June’s snap election.

As a result of their heavy losses, Mr Bartley set out a new vision focused around agenda influence opposed to MP increase.

Joking about Prime Minister Theresa May’s previous conference speech, Mr Bartley said he had cough sweets, blue tac and a vision for the future.

The co-leader said he believed his party to be the most influential party of the 21st century as he set out his core vision of a new economy while fighting air pollution and Brexit.

The Green Party are yet to comment on the veracity of the claims but are determined to unhinge the Foreign Minister.
