The UK is scheduled to depart from the European Union at 11pm on Friday March 29, 2019.

This follows the referendum of June 23, 2016, to decide whether the UK should leave or remain in the EU. Leave won by 51.9% to 48.1%, with a referendum turnout of 71.8% as more than 30 million people voted.

The UK and EU have now agreed on the three “divorce” issues of how much the UK owes the EU, what happens to UK citizens living elsewhere in the EU and EU citizens living in the UK.

However, a report by YouGov has revealed a change in the public’s view regarding the transition.
