As the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference continues, a topic that is discussed in the news is transitioning to more environmentally sustainable lives. One way that has become increasingly popular this year is reusing shipping containers to make homes and cafes/businesses.

Not only is it eco-friendly and durable, it also brings a different and positive atmosphere to businesses.

A street food business in Portsmouth called Nosh Box wanted to bring this shipping container look to Portsmouth after being inspired by other urban areas in the UK. Gary and John, the co-owners of Nosh Box, put two shipping containers together and opened recently.

In the video, Gary explained how this venture started and how this is “different to anything else in Portsmouth”.
