As the UK prepares to leave the European Union in March 2019, Portsmouth Liberal Democrat councillor for Central Southsea and former owner of touring venue Cellars in Eastney, Steve Pitt reflects on how Brexit will affect the local entertainment business.

Portsmouth entertainment venues currently hosts many acts from Europe. Equally, many local artists are welcomed to perform across the water. Issues with visas and taxation may hinder the ability to continue to share artistic talent with Europe.
