PM Modi on his way to BJP headquarters in New Delhi

Comprehensive development, employment opportunities, economic growth and empowering the poor rather than giving out doles, a short summary of Prime Minister Modi’s vision fro “New India”

Yesterday, while addressing BJP party workers and senior leaders, PM Modi announced his plans and vision for a New India, an India where the poor will no longer be kept dependent on subsidies and sympathetic gestures of the government, but rather would be provided with an opportunity to earn a living and respect for themselves.

Quoting the massive win in Uttar Pradesh the Prime Minister said” I can see the foundation of ‘New India’. A ‘New India’ where the 65% of the population is under 35 years old, where women actively work towards empowerment, of a generation that is looking for opportunities to contribute rather than wait around for doles”

Prime Minister, further staked his claims for the year 2022, “ I am not a person who only does with a mind to elections. I have a milestone of 2022 when India completes 75 years of Independence. We should take a pledge of something good that we want to contribute to the country and promise to fulfill that pledge by 2022”. This pledge has also been made electronically available on the NaMo app since late on Sunday afternoon. The subscribers are being asked to take this pledge along with the Prime Minister. The pledge further lays out decisions and executions to eradicate corruption and women’s empowerment as its’ core issues.

With the massive victory send a chill down the spines of BJP’s political opponent this is what Omar Abdullah had to say in his tweet, soon after the result were declared.

Elections in 2019 only two years away, some might argue that Prime Minister has his mind set for 2024. Only time will reveal, whether BJP and the Prime Minister can form a government in next general elections.
