“Will place the idols of Gauri and Ganesh in every mosque, if provided the opportunity”, a statement made by Yogi Adityanath in 2015, the same person is now the Cheif Minister of Uttar Pradesh. On Sunday, at 2:15 pm, Yogi Adityanath took the oath of the CM office, while the BJP’s top brass was comfortably seated in the background.

However, after his arrival to the power, government offices have a lot of work to do. One of his major agenda in the run-up to the U.P election was to change the names of areas and markets with Muslim names. So, far Yogi Adityanath has successfully changed the names for the- Gorakhpur’s Miyan Bazaar was to Maya Bazaar, Ali Nagar to Arya Nagar, Urdu Bazaar to Hindi Bazaar, and so on. Yet, in the realm of BJP world, the jubilant supporters of Yogi Adityanath could be found tumultuously shouting out slogans in his praise outside the BJP headquarters.

Contrary to the evident, in his election campaign Adityanath placed himself within the electorate as someone who will safeguard the cultural, communal demographic balance.

Filled with scriptural literalism, severe xenophobia, unaccommodating personality, disregard for cultural fabric, a strong believe in rule by fear and absent fear of law, the new Chief Minister is a unique choice.

Furthermore, what seems to confound many of the BJP’s sober leaders is how did Yogi Adityanath propel himself to the pedestal of Chief Minister. While all bets either on Manoj Sinha, Dinesh Sharma or even Rajnath Singh. It is unbelievable how Yogi Adityanath gathered prominence and confidence within the party leaders.

{Since I am incapable of making facts on my own, a trait exclusive to Yogi Adityanath, I must base my judgements on what is provided in proclamations of Yogi Adityanath. }
