“You must be depressed.”

“Why?”

“Trump won!” Brian said, “What happened, I thought you said it would never happen?”

“Hmm,” I say biting my lip, “I didn’t think it was possible, sure.”

“Say goodbye to Obamacare, ha.”

“It’s great that amuses you. My mother-in-law cried because it’s the first time in 40 years that she’s been able to afford insurance.”

Brain’s crooked smile fades, “Oh, that’s akward.”

“Yeah, for some people it’s the difference between cancer screenings and going undiagnosed.”

I turn to leave; there is no point.

“Oh, don’t be all sore loser-like.”

It’s a Trump world, we just live in it.
