Home of the elfs.

So this one took some thinking and long multiple discussions. Traveling with kids for 3–4 weeks, on the road in a small car. We had to figure out a good place to sleep. While I’m sure we might sneak into a motel or a B&B once or twice, we plan on spending most of our nights in a tent. Now we’ve had a brilliant family tent for some 10 years now, it’s big and roomy. Has 3 sleeping chambers and a common living area. But it has its drawbacks. It’s made from non breathable fabrics, it takes some 40+ minutes to pitch. And requires 2 people. With our quite so active 2 and 5 years old. This is far less than ideal. So introducing Alfheim a Danish designed tepee.

One pole organic cotton means colder tent in warmer climate that breathes. It’s extremely simple to pivot and only requires one person to do so. Sure it’s heavier than our older nylon tent,we never intended to go hiking with it anyway.

As we only got it a couple of weeks ago we haven’t given it a proper trial. So we’ll hold of with a review until later or after our tour. For now we’re just really exited to try it out.
