We’ve all heard that the streets are filled with idiots. Well it’s no news in India where everyone on the road (including me) needs to be an idiot to survive. A friend of mine narrated this story of how someone dented his car in front of him and denied it ever happened. That really sucks. Remember that girl (forgot her name) who planted a false story in the media and ruined a young guys life, until witnesses came forward. All of this happened on a busy road. That guy was lucky, others may not be.

I was wondering what if something happened with someone I cared about on the road. I looked around for an answer and it was simpler than I thought, the dashcam. Remember that little show on AXN about police videos we all enjoyed? If you do then you’ll know that a lot of it was covered through dashcams. These have been the norm in police cars abroad but people don’t really want to spend too much on things like those over here.

Many people have saved themselves from being scammed. People abroad have this habit of jumping in front of cars and claiming damages by saying the driver ran over them. In one case in a fit of rage the guy actually did run over the person after being scammed.

Point is a dashcam is a good thing to have in your car. Immensely helpful in case of a scam that happens to you or in case you need to show solid proof in a court, it is one of those joys of modern day technology that we need to cherish.

I close today by leaving this video of hilarious dashcam scams caught on tape
