I have always noticed that real life heroes never get their due recognition unless re-enacted by reel life heroes. It is with this purpose I am putting out today’s post in part 2 of India’s heroes

  1. Mohan Chand Sharma

Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma is a feared name amongst terrorist. He’s an encounter specialist in the Delhi Police. He has shot dead 35 terrorist and arrested more than 75 other. He’s always believed in fighting valiantly even in the face of insurmountable odds. He succumbed to his wounds during the Batla house encounter but managed to kill two terrorist before going down.

2. Ajit Doval

One of the few people who needs no introduction. Popularly known as India’s James bond, he has carried out several critical operations including 7 years in Pakistan to pass vital information to India. He was also instrumental in helping India during the khalistan attacks of the 80s. The only non military person to be awarded the Kirti chakra, he’s currently serving as India’s national security advisor.

3. K Vijay Kumar

K Vijay Kumar is a former police officer of the IPS. He led a Special task force which killed the dreaded Veerappan in 2004. During his 40 year career he has served in various departments including heading the CRPF. He currently is a senior security advisor in the union home ministry.

4. Aftab Ahmed Khan

If you want to see a real life hero turned into real life, he was one of the few lucky ones. Aftab Ahmed Khan was a noted encounter specialist in the Mumbai police. He’s credited for killing several gangsters and breaking the crime Syndicate including the notorious encounter in the Lokhandwala complex of Mumbai, which was the basis for the movie “Shootout at Lokhandwala”

5. Shivdeep Waman Lande

You might have seen Dabbang. Shivdeep Lande is the real life chulbul Pandey. He served as the Superintendent of Police in Araria, Purnia andJamalpur districts of Bihar. He also served as the SPof Patna (Central Region), where he was quite popular. He arrested many criminals, ranging from fake cosmetic sellers to medicine mafia. Lande became a hero among young girls of the cities, as he took strict action against eve-teasers.

As per reports, he donates 60% of his salary to a social organization which arranges marriage for poor girls and hostels for poor students.

To be cont’d.
