Selective outrage

This one had a long time coming. I’ve been seeing the hypocrisy on people for far too long and it had to be called out. For far too long I’ve seen selective treatment being given out to the so called ‘society’. While one section has been enjoying the benefits of modern life and all the comforts at their disposal, another set struggles for basic survival. I can only vent my anger and frustration as I have no idea whether this will change or not.

Last year so many terrorist attack happened all across the world including India with countless dead, yet it seemed like the only attacks happened were in France and twice. That’s all the world cares to know. No ISIS, no Boko Haram no one else did anything in any other place than France; Je Suis idiot.

If you think that wasn’t enough lets go further back. Ebola has been a menace in Africa for decades yet when one ‘American’ gets sick and brings it with him, it becomes a global epidemic and mass hysteria was the order of the day.

Now I doubt most of the world has shown the same amount of concern for what happened in Dhaka just sometime back, twice, yet I see the world going batshit crazy over Nice. Of course the media is behind it too, but it just goes to show how ignorant we have become of this world.
