The Joy of Love

You know whatever crap I go through on a daily basis, from all sorts of things and all sorts of people, there is one thing I am absolutely sure about. I am very thankful to god for surrounding me with amazing people. Right from my family to my very close friends. It’s like each and every person was handpicked just for me. That’s why I take great care to make sure that I fill their lives with happiness as much as they have filled mine.

It’s a fact that each and every one of us have those special people around. But then I always meet some people who are not that grateful for what they have. Taking things and people for granted. People who want nothing but happiness for you while they treat them like nothing

Ever done that? Knowing there’s someone looking out for you, someone who cares for you but you mistreated them? Maybe not even mistreated but just had a bad mood and threw a fit. You got angry and made them sad. Of course you did, we’re only humans. Don’t get all perfect just now. What is important to ask is, did you then after your moment of rage or mistreatment go to them apologise and make amends? Now that’s a thing that doesn’t happen too often.

There are times when our anger gets the better of us so much, that in the exact moment we loose our top. That one moment of anger could then lead to a lifetime of ego. That in the end results in sometimes a lifetime of regret. You may never know who you see for the last time. You could either hope that the last time you saw them was with a smile on their face and not a tear in their eye or the regret will be strong and that’ll be a burden to carry on forever.

So go on, burst that bubble, call that special person, run up to them if needed tell them how special they are for you, give them a hug not just because they might need it, but you certainly do. Because there’s no greater joy to bring than the joy of love.
