Passport Bros think they’re punishing feminists by leaving the US
Ever since I reconnected with my voice and my dignity, I’ve received a lot of criticism from angry men. The newest iteration? The Passport Bro, who’s crash-landing in the comments section to give me a piece of his mind.
In short, Passport Bros are a subcategory of Western men who find Western women too “aggressive and hostile” due to their “abrasive conduct, combative attitudes, and an overt emphasis on anti-male feminist philosophy.” (That’s straight from the official Passport Bros website, before anyone accuses me of putting words in mouths.)
Rather than tolerate these “hostile” women in their home countries, these men travel to more conservative places to seek out relationships with foreign women.
Let me be clear:
I’m not here to pass judgment on foreign women or their cultures.
I’m also not implying that Western women are inherently better, smarter, or more enlightened than non-Western women. Our customs and our ideals are different, and that’s okay.
