I Can’t Remember A Damn Thing

Short-term memory loss makes my life difficult.

I’d done something stupid again, and my husband and daughter were laughing about it. This time, I had absentmindedly put a stick of butter in the silverware drawer. I didn’t realize it until I opened the drawer later for a spoon. When my family laughed, I laughed right along with them, but secretly I felt anxious and alarmed.
