Taylor Swift’s re-recording of her six earliest albums has been a delight for many of her fans. We’ve been given the gifts of shiny new merch, a bevy of unreleased (so-called Vault) tracks, and Swift’s epic performance of the ten-minute version of “All Too Well” on SNL.

The re-recordings are lovingly crafted and almost perfectly mirror the original tracks. But there’s one distinct change I hope to see when Swift re-releases the Speak Now album in the future.

I hope she doesn’t re-record “Better Than Revenge”.

The catchy hit was released in October 2010 on Speak Now, Swift’s third studio album. “Better Than Revenge” is one of Swift’s first targeted diss tracks, in which she unleashes her anger over another woman “stealing” her man.

The boyfriend in “BTR” is Joe Jonas, who left Swift and began dating an actress.

“BTR” kicks off with a verbal instruction from the songstress herself: “Now go sit in the corner and think about what you did.”
