To the Men Who Are Assholes in My Comment Section — What’s Your Goal?

Having a dick doesn’t entitle you to be one

Hey Guys.

Woman here.

I have questions for you. For some of you, that is.

For the assholes.

Asshole: an unpleasant, mean, or contemptible person

Let me preface my first question by saying that I know #notallmen are assholes (I’m tempted to put that in all caps for a point that continues to be missed).

But why are the assholes in my comment section always men?

Do I have a sign taped to my back I’m unaware of that reads:

Hey Buddy, why not take up all that pent-up rage and unload it here

or

Please explain my feelings back to me

or

I’d love for you to kick me when I’ve already admitted I’m down

or

Feel free to repeat what I said and pass it off as your own advice

or

(my favorite) If I said something you didn’t like, go ahead and insult, disparage, and attack me. Maybe call me some names too.
