Enjoy a thrilling night at the Voorhees Town Center
For a “thrilling” celebration for all ages, visit Voorhees Town Center on Friday, Oct. 26, for the 2nd annual Thriller Night. This event is packed with Halloween activities and entertainment from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. in the Special Events Place, the Boulevard, and Macy’s and Boscov’s Courts.
For the movie buffs, a 20-foot screen on the Special Events Plaza will showcase the Halloween movie classics “Ghostbusters” and “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.” Also, there will be monstrous strolling characters, a balloon artist, and a live reenactment of the famous “Thriller” dance by Today’s Dance Center as the video plays in sync on the big screen. To round out the evening, It’s A Doggie Dog World will hold a pet costume contest, and “spirits” will be available at the new Catelli Duo Osteria Wine Bar. Plus, kids can enjoy crafts in Macy’s Court and Boscov’s Spooktacular events from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Local families are encouraged to wear their spookiest, silliest, and cutest Halloween costumes; bring lawn chairs and blankets for the movies; and join in on the fun with Voorhees Town Center’s “Costume Your Ride” vehicle Halloween costume contest. First place will receive a $50 PREIT Mall American Express Gift Card.
In the event of rain, activity moves to Macy’s Court from 6:30 to 9 p.m. For more information, visit www.voorheestowncenter.com or www.facebook.com/VoorheesTownCenter.
