Virtua Welcomes New Member to Board of Trustees

Virtua recently announced a new member to its Board of Trustees. Grayling L. Johnson of Sicklerville will join a team of more than fifteen board members and will work closely with Virtua senior leadership.

Johnson has more than 25 years of experience in architectural design and documentation, as well as construction contract administration. His background includes project design and management of residential and single family homes, as well as many governmental, educational and commercial projects.

“Our compassionate community leaders and highly experienced healthcare professionals share a passion for providing the best possible care in South Jersey,” said Dennis Flanagan, Chairman of the Virtua Board of Trustees. “We are very pleased to have Mr. Johnson join the Board of Trustees and bring with him his years of knowledge and experience.”

“I am excited about and welcome the opportunity to serve as a member of Virtua’s Board of Trustees,” said Johnson. “Virtua has been and continues to be at the forefront of the healthcare industry in our local communities, and I look forward to being a part of the planning of new facilities and future growth.”

Johnson has been an active member of the City of Camden Historic Preservation Committee for six years and an active volunteer for the Deptford Fire Department for 36 years. He graduated with a bachelor’s of architecture degree from Howard University and is licensed in six states. He is also a graduate of Deptford Township High School.
