The sun will come out “Tomorrow” when the junior version of one of the world’s best loved musicals is performed by local elementary and middle school aged children.

Annie Jr. will be presented by the Voorhees Theatre Company’s Summer Program at the Voorhees Schools Theater at Voorhees Middle School, 1000 Holly Oak Drive.

Performance dates and times are as follows: Wednesday, July 29, at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 30, at 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 31 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, August 1, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $8 each and may be purchased at the box office (for hours, call (856) 206–3554) or at the VTC website voorheestheatre.org. All seats are reserved.

Annie Jr. is produced by special arrangement with Music Theatre International and is based on the popular comic strip, Little Orphan Annie by Harold Gray.

The comic strip heroine’s story as told by Thomas Meehan, with music and lyrics by Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, was the winner of seven TONY Awards including Best Musical. It is a show that will please audience members of all ages.
