Official Synopis: Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

So, unless you’ve been living under a rock you know that one of the years most anticipated, and at times controversial, movie is opening in wide release this Friday. After going through two directors, multiple rounds of ‘will-he-won’t-he be Batman’ Ben Affleck rumors, and a couple of course adjustments, The Justice League is ready to hit theaters. I am very fascinated by The Justice League, and I am truly looking forward to seeing this movie. In a post Wonder Woman world I am interested in seeing how she fits into this story. Batman was my favorite part (and I would argue one of the few bright spots) in Batman vs. Superman and I am looking forward to seeing Ben Affleck take up the cowl and again. I’m hoping for great character moments, epic battles and a couple yucks, but more than all of that I am yearning for this movie to be great. The DC superheroes are some of the most iconic comic book characters in history, I want to see another universally accepted film from Warner Bros. and I am eagerly awaiting the release of this movie.

Those are my initial thoughts on this movie, having not yet seen anything beyond a trailer. What do you guys think? Will you be going out to see it this weekend? Let me know in the comments below, and as always I’ll see you at the movies.
