White, yellow, purple and red

Your varieties are wide-spread

You are our staple food

and go well with any food

You’re the one no one can exclude

You are at your best when barbecued.

You are hidden treasure under our earth

You make our taste buds dance in mirth

Every child loves you right from birth

Every granny would like to taste you before death

You are pretty cheap yet worth.
