One song for every week of the year, without any rules. One song that determined the week. It can be a new song, but it can also be some rediscovered “golden oldie”. Whatever the week brought. That’s The Weekly Song.

Greyson Chance — Low

Yes, I understand it if you have no idea who Greyson Chance is if you just read the name without context. You may however remember this YouTube video from 2010 of a boy singing Lady Gaga's song Paparazzi. It's one of those viral videos from back in the day, which has been viewed well over 60 million times at the time of writing. A year later, Greyson made his album debut with Hold On 'Til The Night, but went a little quiet afterward. He did deliver new music from time to time with singles and also produced the EP Somewhere over My Head in 2016. I listened to his newest song Low at the end of last year, and heard it again recently.

While not that famous, this man knows how to sing, as I once mentioned in a tweet:

I'm looking forward to a new album from Mister Chance, if it ever comes. Let's hope it does!

They say through time I’ll find some healing
but the clock goes slow
