Cindy Lemon was the doting wife of Drew Lemon. They were both well-liked and had an excellent reputation in The Wellspring. Neighbours greeted them, they were invited to all the community events, and they brought with them a pleasant, well-to-do attitude that many of the other residents seemed to lack — The Murphys least of all.

Cindy likes to attribute this attitude to their devotion to the Church. Drew was very involved in the local Church, and both he and Cindy would give up their time and tithes willingly to ensure the Church was well-oiled and had lots of events running in it’s calendar, year-round.

From the outside looking in, Cindy and Drew had the perfect, traditional marriage. But within that marriage… things weren’t quite so simple.

Y’see, Drew put so much of his time and effort into the Church, that he had little time for Cindy anymore. They’d return home from functions and planning meetings, go to bed, face opposite ways, and go to sleep. There was nothing said of the acts of marriage that Cindy so desired, she was always left…
