Wework is a place to work. And when it comes to working, sometimes you need to sit on a firm chair, roll up your sleeves and get down to work. One of the greatest things about Wework is its interior design. Every piece of furniture, decoration or appliances are cherry-picked to make you feel comfortable and at ease. If you have visited a Wework before you might have noticed this right when you walk in.

Over the past months I have come to notice patterns in the chair selection that Wework uses. A lot of chair models are used across the locations. In this article I will go over the most comfy, the most unusual, and the most work-oriented chairs Wework has to offer.

The Skeleton Stool

This chair is from Champs-Elysées. As stylish it is to the eye, it is pretty uncomfortable and flimsy when your back is resting against the pad-like wooden panel. Personally I cannot sit for more than 20 minutes on this chair without feeling the harsh rigid seat. Even some metro seats are more comfortable than this chair 😅.

The Laid-back Metal Outdoor Chair

This chair can be found in many locations. Especially on rooftops and outdoor terraces. Personally I have seen this chair in places like Wagram in Paris, San Marco in Milan or Gracía in Barcelona.

This chair may not look comfortable at first but it is. The angle of the seat is perfect for working laid-back, socializing around a beer or just chilling and watching the sunset.

This chair has the perfect wideness. You have the space to move your arms with complete freedom.

The Conference Chair

This chair is used widely across the newer locations most commonly in conference rooms. It actually exists in 3 forms : form presented in photo above, with armrests (my favorite) and a stool version. This chair is at the perfect hight for working. My legs never get tired and when I get bored I can always bounce up and down since there is a suspension mechanism.

It is very stylish and is one of the best chairs you can find throughout Wework.

New Kitchen Bucket Chair

This is a new model that has appeared in Jules Lefebvre. It can be found in the kitchen areas and are mostly used for eating.

The problem with these chairs is that they are pretty small and are very close to each other. This is not optimal for working because you don’t get the space you need. Plus when you are working on a screen, you don’t want to have someone one foot next to you working on something else…

I will be adding more chairs in an upcoming article. As you can imagine, Wework’s creative team has an endless list of particular furniture, everything to make each location feel special…

Don’t forget to clap, and obviously subscribe to The Weworker for more inside opinions on Wework!
