The end has come for AMMdefi!

As of last week, the end has come for AMMdefi. Withdrawals were halted and no one has received anything more than a few hundred USDT.

DO NOT invest new funds with AMMdefi!

AMMdefi log with warning over the top

Per my previous articles, I have said to invest with caution and only small amounts that you could afford to lose if things were to go bad. Well, the owner(s) of this project felt that it was a good idea to use the Christmas spirit to get people to invest millions more USDT last week and then run off with it.

Unfortunately this seems to be happening more often lately with a lot of new projects. There are plenty of people that did indeed make a lot of money through this project which is why I was promoting it previously. I fell for the bonus events last week myself and made a new deposit last Monday morning, however I never did invest more than my original total risk amount, knowing that I might never see it again. Am I devastated? No. I am very frustrated though as it did look promising for a while yet and this project team took advantage of a lot of people and stole a lot of money.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS be cautious with any new project and when it seems too good to be true, assume it is. You may still want to take risks many times, just do so with extreme caution!

Here are some additional warnings:

  • NEVER send funds to a private address of someone you do not know personally! Even then, be cautious.
  • Do NOT believe anyone messaging you that says they are from AMMdefi and asking for money!
  • Do NOT recharge/deposit any more funds in your AMMdefi account!
  • Do NOT believe anyone that tells you that you need to send funds to have your AMMdefi withdrawal released!
  • Do NOT believe anyone in the recently created AMMdefi Refund Group on Telegram!
  • Do NOT even believe AMMdefi customer service through the app if they are telling you to send money!

Since last weeks stopping of withdrawals, there have been many scams to popup relating to AMMdefi

There have been many reports of people being contacted through Telegram being told that they need to send 10% or 20% of their requested withdrawal to a wallet address to have your withdrawals released. They say this is a fee that need to be sent to get your funds released. DO NOT believe any of these messages! You WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!

There have been posts on Reddit saying that even through the AMMdefi app, online customer service has told users to do a recharge to their account equal to 20% of the amount they want to withdraw and within 8 hours the AMMdefi finance department will release their withdrawal. Again, DO NOT believe these messages and DO NOT deposit more funds to your account! You will most certainly LOSE YOUR MONEY!

There has recently been a new group to appear on Telegram called the “AMMdefi Refund Group”. DO NOT believe anything that you are told to do in this group to get your withdrawals released!

If AMMdefi was legitimately going to release funds to their users and allow withdrawals, they would do it through the app the way all previous withdrawals had occured. If by chance the app had really been hacked, as they have supposedly claimed in some of these locations, they would open a new app or a new location and be able to send you funds, but withhold any fees they were to charge. There would be no reason for anyone to send them any new funds. You do NOT need to send them funds for them to verify your account. They already have all the information they need, except maybe the public address of the wallet you would want to receive to.

I don’t expect anything like that to happen. At this point, it looks like they have run off with millions and millions of USDT funds.

The app is still functional and allows you to do your daily clicks, although it doesn’t look like you’ll ever see that money. Customer service was still responding as of earlier today, but I would use caution when speaking with them. Good luck trying to get any funds released.

Lastly, I do want to mention that there have also been posts popping up all over the place about projects that are similar to AMMdefi. Some say they are better, some say they do things a little different, etc. Be extremely cautious with any of these! Do your research and choose your investments carefully. I’m not going to tell you that every project out there is a scam, because they aren’t. You can even make money off some that are scams like AMMdefi. I can’t say the warnings enough….

NEVER invest more funds than you can afford to lose in any investment, anywhere!

ALWAYS do your research and be cautious with all investments!

Not a disclaimer….. THIS HAS BEEN financial advice! Always be careful! Happy investing!
