Monroe Township places mandatory water conservations measures in place

Mandatory water conservations measures will be instituted by the Monroe Municipal Utilities Authority. Effective immediately there will be a ban in effect on non-essential outdoor use of water by the residential and commercial customers between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.. Non-essential use includes the sprinkling of lawns, washing of cars, filling of pools and power-washing.

Outside use of water may take place from 6 to 10 a.m. only and from 6 to 9 p.m. only based on an odd/even calendar day system, which has been established on a geographical basis.

You may use water outside on odd numbered calendar days from 6 to 10 a.m. only and from 6 to 9 p.m. only if your property is located to the north side (closer to Philadelphia) of Clayton Road and Sicklerville Road.

You may use water outside on even numbered calendar days from 6 to 10 a.m. only and from 6 to 9 p.m. only if your property is located to the south side (closer to Atlantic City) of Clayton Road and Sicklerville Road.
