On Friday, February 14 2020, The Wing opened the doors to The Wing Williamsburg, its the eleventh location globally, and fifth in New York City. The three-story 12,000 square foot space is situated just off the bustling Wythe Corridor, at 71 North 7th Street.

The Wing Williamsburg boasts two floors and a large terrace off of each one’s main workspace, along with a full rooftop with stunning views of the East River and Manhattan skyline. This is the largest amount of outdoor space for any Wing location yet. The fully-furnished terrace will be open for use in the spring. Inside, the space has many of The Wing’s signature Wing amenities including the Perch, our full-service cafe and bar, featuring a new “build your own” menu offering in addition to some of our most popular Wing dishes. Next to The Perch is our main work and events space area, including a lending library with titles sourced by The Strand bookstore.

The second floor houses additional shared workspace along with our signature “personal space” area which includes a shower, lockers, a pump room, and a beauty room. There are also five private phone booths made by ROOM, one conference room, a printer, and a quiet room with noise canceling headphones.

The Wing Williamsburg features the second NYC outpost of our dedicated childcare space, The Little Wing, which offers babysitting to members via a Wing member-owned service called “The Sitter Club,” and a playspace for children and caretakers to use during operating hours.

The Wing Williamsburg was designed to feel cohesive and comfortable with playful Brooklyn-inspired components like a striped awning and custom fabric at The Perch which pays homage to delis and cafes found across the borough.

The official launch was celebrated with the “Williamsburg Be Mine” Galentine’s Party, which included tarot readings, DJ sets by br0nz3_g0dd3ss of Discwoman, and face painting in The Little Wing. Over the weekend, we hosted “Drag Queen Story Hour” at The Little Wing, where parents brought their kids to listen to stories read by Queen Ona Louise.

Later this month, the space will play host to a “Snack + Chat with our Co-Founders,” Audrey Gelman and Lauren Kassan, along with “A Guide to Working the Way You Want to With Cindy Gallop,” “Ordinary Equality: The Past, Present, and Future of the ERA,” “Celebrate Black History Month 2020: Black Brunch,” “Blaze Your Own Trail with Rebekah Bastian and Sarah Sheehan,” “NYC First Lady Chirlane McCray in Conversation,” and “Morning Meditation and Journaling with Wolf Medicine Magic”.

The Wing Williamsburg is currently accepting new members. Check out the Membership page for more information and to apply today.
