The Water of Life Summary
The water of life according to the story can bring back the dead. The old king had a faithful servant that wore the armlet. The old king died and went the way that those had traveled who had gone before him. A young king took his place. It’s funny how no one thought to bring back the old king with the water of life. However, not everyone is meant to rise before the time that they should.
Then there is a princess that lived over beyond the three rivers. She grieved over a wise bird that died. The bird was very valuable to her because it knew everything that happened in the world, and it could tell the princess whatever she wanted to know. She promised to marry whoever brought back a cup of water from the fountain of life…..
To make a long story short, the North Wind flew with the servant on his back to take him to the water of life……
