Don’t tell me to move on;
Don’t say that it’s God’s will;
Don’t claim, “It was their time”;
Just be with me; be still.

Don’t say there is a reason
For every awful thing;
Don’t tell me that God took them:
That is not comforting.

You do not have the answers,
And honestly that’s fine;
I don’t need explanations:
Just let me sit and cry.
