My mind’s imprint born
In void unadorned,
Fills vacant leaves with being.
Nothing can contain;
Nothing can constrain.
The pen and ink is freeing.

My soul is aflame
And I will proclaim
My passion — my joy, and my rage.
The chaos within,
My virtue and sin
Will be composed on the page.

The future will know
Myself that I show:
The precious memory
Of a human heart.
Just a tiny part
Of all of eternity.

Words have always been my art. They dance for me and sing for me. They laugh for me and cry for me. They are my paint and brushes. They are my clay.
